Glenn Brown Joins the Empire

Empire Pipe Band is excited to announce the news that Glenn Brown will be playing with us for the 2019 season! Glenn is a good friend of the band and instructs many of it’s players for solo competition. Some of Glenn’s latest achievements include Senior Piobaireachd at the Argyllshire Gathering (2017) and the Bratach Gorm in London (2018).  Glenn has also won 3 World Pipe Band Championships with Shotts and Dykehead Caledonia Pipe Band, the latest in 2015 as the band’s Pipe Sergeant.

Workshop with Callum Beaumont

On February 19th, the Empire Pipe Band was excited to hold a workshop with champion soloist Callum Beaumont! Callum had recently won overall in the 2019 Metro Cup competition the day before. This was a great experience for the band and helped to improve their music and prepare them for the 2019 season.
